Our Mission

Fulfilment Care Services is an independent organisation based in Harlow, Essex. We provide accommodation and support to young people between the ages of 16 to 24. We work with young people to develop their life skills and prepare them for independent living.

Aims & Objectives

The ethos of Fulfilment Care Services incorporates the following beliefs:

Each young person will have a key worker who will work closely with them and conduct regular key work sessions aligned with their pathway plan. The role of the key worker is to ensure:

  • That the agreed plan is implemented;
  • That reports are prepared as necessary
  • That the young person has an allocated member of staff who they can rely on for guidance and support
  • That each young person should be viewed as an individual and that their views, attitudes and opinions are respected

Aims:

Fulfilment Care Services operates a relationship-oriented model of support as we prioritise the well-being and development of each young person through building positive relationships. It is important for us to put in the time and effort to meet the individual needs of each young person, therefore our support is personalised and we do not operate on a one size fits all model.

We Aim:

  • To develop person centred pathway support packages for the young people in the service.
  • To promote safety for the young person by ensuring that each young person has a holistic risk assessment, that is regularly reviewed.
  • To enable the young person to meet their health and emotional needs.
  • To promote and maintain positive relationships that benefit the young person and enable them to develop their identity, self-respect and caring for their own well-being.
  • To promote the right culture that is conducive to learning, education, training and employment, ensuring resources and support are available, and encourage young people to gain and maintain employment, education and training.
  • To enable the young person to develop skills to communicate and interact with others and to integrate and contribute to the community in a positive manner.
  • To work in partnership with parents, relevant adults, education, occupation, health and other professionals to ensure the young person is enabled to maximise their potential.
  • To ensure high quality yet cost-effective services delivered around the needs of the young person.
  • To promote an anti-discriminatory culture and an atmosphere of trust and respect.
  • To encourage young people to participate and be involved in the delivery and development of the service.

At Fulfilment Care Services the young people we support in our service include:

  • Asylum seeking/refugee/ unaccompanied minors aged 16 and over
  • Young people leaving care
  • Young people escaping abuse
  • Young people who challenge the service severely
  • Young people with offending history
  • Young people leaving foster care now in need of support into semi-independent living

Our Vision

We work with vulnerable young people to develop their independence by providing them with essential skills they need to live fulfilling lives and successfully participate in their local community. We believe that one of the most important area is supporting the young people to work towards financial independence by encouraging them to pursue their desired goals through engagement in education, training and employment.
