COVID-19

Government guidance continues to change and Fulfilment Care Services will ensure that it keeps up to date with any changes

COVID-19

Fulfilment Care Services will ensure that staff follow the current government guidance in place to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19 and the risk of spreading it. We will also support and encourage the young people to follow the guidance.

The main symptoms of COVID-19 are a recent onset of a new continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss/change in your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia).

  • If a young person displays any of these symptoms, staff will ensure they follow the current government guidance in place for self isolating and testing procedures

Below are the measures Fulfilment Care Services will follow to ensure we safeguard the welfare of both of our staff and the young people in our provisions during this challenging time:

Washing hands with soap and water or using hand sanitiser regularly throughout the day is an effective way to reduce the risk of catching illnesses, including COVID-19. Fulfilment Care Services staff must wash their hands and encourage the young people to do the same:

  • After coming into contact with surfaces touched by many others
  • After coughing, sneezing and blowing your nose
  • Before eating or handling any food
  • After using public transport
  • After returning home

Placing antibacterial hand gel dispensers in all communal areas of the provision and face coverings to be made readily available for the staff and young people.

We will work closely with the local college to ensure we are following the guidelines they have put in place in relation to COVID-19.

Supplying all our young people with up to date announcements from NHS, HM Government, and local authority sources.
